Actress - IWAAD
The film for Actress IWAAD is an attempt to present something obviously digital in a more incomplete processed state, linking aesthetically with the looping sonic haze and relentless pressure of the music.
The producer Actress has described his music as ‘reverse decay’ and this film builds up a landscape from the basic parts and processes of digital media. Here the rendering process becomes the raw footage that is once again is filmed and edited to become human.

This non-commissioned film is a study of the human emotion of familiar digital elements. It strips away the slick highly processed context in which we normally view 3d models and attempts to describe instead the melancholic loneliness of the disorienting nightclub environment.
